On May 30, Matt and I headed down to Salt Lake for Cassie's graduation! We had dinner at Macaroni Grill in Provo before graduation and then headed to UVU through the throng of traffic for the graduation. She looked so amazing! I got a few pictures of her throughout the ceremony, but it was so dark, my pictures only turned out ok. Matt was a good member of the audience. I did have to bring the iPad for him to play games on, and a huge bag of candy to keep his mouth quiet, and he sat still for mostly the entire time. I was comparing my man-child to the FOUR BOYS sitting next to me. They were all in shirts and ties, and were sitting in their seats with nothing to entertain them the entire time (Matt is 28 years old, these kids ranged from 15 to 3), while Matt was in shorts and a baseball hat and had my purse full of things to entertain him. Seriously?
Matt, being a Fischer, had to be as loud as possible when Cassie's name was called. He bought an air-horn before the graduation and snuck it inside. When her name was called, we were screaming like crazy and Matt blew the air-horn until it ran out of air. He scared the crap out of the people in front of us. Like 30 seconds later, one of the security guys came all the way up to where we were sitting and confiscated Matt's air-horn! We were laughing about it because we couldn't believe that he walked all the way up there to confiscate something that we had already used and would not be able to use again. He basically walked to the top of the bleachers to throw away our garbage! I guess he has to do it though. We got a good story out of it, even though Cassie couldn't even hear it!
