Camping at the East Fork of the Bear

Last weekend Matt and I met Randy, Jenny and the kids, and Lance and Kendra and Rudy for a few days of camping! This is exactly the type of trip that I love: Not a ton of preparation, not a ton of money, but lots of fun and relaxing with family!

Eating ice cream with Harrison- he couldn't get enough!

Matt decided to wear a white polo shirt our first day... needless to say, it didn't last long

Claire spent most of the time during the days catching/killing butterflies

Claire was so funny when we went fishing! She wanted to touch all the fish that the boys caught and even gave this one a big smooch!

Harrison loved riding the four-wheeler almost as much as the rest of us did! It was really fun to ride the wheeler and follow Brad on his dirt bike! He is getting really good!

Matt and Randy having a "Bro-mance" moment together...

Harrison's huge eyes

Our makeshift fire- we couldn't have a real fire so we put the bug candles together and made this fire... Don't worry, we couldn't have started anything on fire even if we wanted to, this fire gave off zero heat!

My Camera Loves These Kids

Randy and Jenny had a fancy work thing to go to a couple weekends ago, so I got to play with the kids for the night! It also gave me a chance to test out the different, cool settings on my new camera! I am loving it!

Love the red lips all puckered!

Harrison played along with Aunt Tori's picture-taking for a while, but then he was done!

Camping

This weekend I met my family up Little Cottonwood Canyon for a few days of camping! I met them up there on Sunday morning (unfortunately I missed a lot of fun things Saturday night) and we went up the canyon to hike to Cecret Lake. It was pretty overcast but it felt really good.... Until we got to the lake and it started to pour down rain on us! We walked back down to the shuttle, where a lot of people were waiting, and piled a million wet people into the shuttle to go back to the car. Jeff and Jake were the most wet, but we were all soaked! (Cassie was not soaked because she stayed at our camp and read her book in her car)

We hung out around the fire, played cards, talked, ate, and watched Friends out of the back of the Tahoe. Camping Fox style! Alex, Jake and Cassie went home after dinner, so it was just my mom, Jeff and I overnight. On Monday morning the sun came back out and we went up to Snowbird and did a little hike and had lunch! I had so much fun, even though we were only there for a couple days. Thanks mom and Jeff for a fun weekend!

Life in Logan

Matt and I LOVE being back in Logan. There is something every day that reminds us why we love it so much up here.

We get to hang out with Jenny, Randy and the kids way more! We got to see Brad and Randy play in their softball/baseball games. We get to go on dates with Randy and Jenny. We also get to practice softball with Randy every week (which is when Randy got hit in the face with a softball and had some serious problems). I love that I can be around to help out, like when Jenny and Randy were in the hospital and we got to watch the kiddos.

Harrison is the happiest baby ever! It is so fun to make him laugh.

We live super close to Bear Lake! We got to go up to the Hodges cabin for the fourth of July this year and it was nice not to have a really long drive.

Again, more playing with the kids. Jenny takes the kids every week to a different park around the valley with the other families in their neighborhood. The kids are perfect subjects for me to test out my new camera on! (I took these pictures before reading my camera manual... Give me a break! It's 250 pages long!)

Cache Valley rednecks! Matt and I went to the demolition derby last week after it rained like crazy. It was really muddy, which meant it was extra fun!

We love it here!
