Cruising... Disney Style!

Between December 13 and 20, my dad took my sisters and I on a Disney Cruise!!! We left from Port Canavaral in Florida and made port in Key West, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, and Disney's private island, Castaway Cay in the Bahamas. It was a really fun trip, we had great weather and incredible service. While we were on the ship, we spent our time eating, watching shows, laying out, and did I mention eating? Off the ship we mostly just spent as much of my dad's money as possible. I think our trip was pretty successful in that regard. In Key West we at key lime pie at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, we kissed stingrays in Grand Cayman, and even found a 7-11 in Cozumel! Castaway Cay was the best of all- we spent the whole day laying on the beach, soaking up the sun. The Flying Dutchman from Pirates of the Caribbean was floating in the water next to our cruise ship! It was so cool! And of course, we get home to mountains of snow...

The Wedding!

Okay so I'm a little late with these, but on December 6 my mom and Jeff Fox were married in a little ceremony at our new house! There were only a few people there, some family members and close friends, but it was still very nice. So, I officially have a new "step-dad" although I probably will call him Jeff Fox forever.

Moving... BLAH

Last weekend I took Friday off and went down to help my mom and sisters move to our new house in Eagle Mountain. Wow we had a lot of stuff. It took all day Friday and most of Saturday to move everything over and start unpacking. Good thing we had muscle men there to help with the big stuff. On Saturday, instead of watching the BYU/Utah game, I went and babysat for my favorite kids, the McKinlays, who I nannied for during the summer. Those babies are so darling, crawling around everywhere. I can't believe how much kids grow in just a few months. Even the older kids seemed a little different, but in a good way. It was also my first experience dealing with "night terrors." I have learned so much from these kids, it's amazing.

Andrew and Zachary will turn one year old on January 9th

All American Girl!

Last Wednesday, on a spur of the moment purchase (which I am very good at), Matt and I went down to Salt Lake for the Carrie Underwood concert!! I must say, I was very, VERY, impressed. That girl has real talent, not to mention beautiful. Matt and I realized that she is about our age, WOW. I tried to get Matt to propose to her, but he wouldn't do it. LAME. But we still had a good time singing along. Carrie did have something that I have never seen at a concert before... she had special microphones. My favorite one had white rhinestones all over it. She also had a pink rhinestone one, and a gold sparkly one. I am asking for one for Christmas to keep in my car for all my singing.

Little Big Town opened for Carrie

I freaking LOVED these shoes!

A Weekend Away

This weekend, my dad invited my sisters and I to go down to St. George with him. We left on Friday and got there late Friday night and on Saturday we slept in and went golfing at The Ledges. It was the most fun 18 holes I have ever played! The golf carts had GPS on them, which told you exactly how far you were from the hole, and also showed commercials for the homes and restaurants in the area. It was so cool! Matt played really well of course, and I... played. I was happy with my game, but my score wasn't pretty. However, the most entertaining part of the game was watching Matt strap Alex's crutches to the back of their golf cart before we started, and to listen to people talk about Alex's injury. Every old person thought it must have been a golf injury. Gotta love people who even think in golf terms. The weather was perfect, although we played a few cold holes after the sun went down. What a relaxing weekend! I think I'll have to officially pull my clubs out of retirement now.

Halloween!

Halloween was very fun this year, although no big parties or anything. We did have a first grade Halloween parade and party, although I don't think that really counts. Natalie's costume was amazing, perhaps more so because it was homemade without doing any sewing. Creativity at its best!
Pumpkin carving was very straightforward this year. It was funny to watch Alex carve "Hi Crip" on her pumpkin, of course referring to herself, and Brad simply do his name. What a winner. Matt, Natalie and my dad were the only ones to actually carve a Halloween picture on theirs, so I guess they all tie for the prize.

I Got Lots Of Them! Lots!

This one is for you mom. PLEASE show Jay and his kids this video so that when they quote my amazing little sister, they don't SLAUGHTER it! I still love you, but really, it just isn't a quote if you do it wrong.

Wiggle My Hat

This video was taken in June 1998 in our hotel room in the Cayman Islands. Cassie was two months shy of being four years old.

All the girls

Jenn's Bridal Shower... Probably the last time all of us will be together for a long time... Well at least until Erika gets home from the Philippines!

Can You See My Finger?

This one is Matt's favorite. Although putting it on the internet probably means I will hear him quote it more than he already does, I am still going to do it.

And look at that bruise on her forehead! I promise we didn't beat her... her feet were too small for her body and she fell down a lot.
