Mexico Pictures!

So for my mom's "honeymoon" we all went to Mexico! We were there during the first week of January and it was beautiful! We stayed in the Barcelo Palace all-inclusive resort in Playa del Carmen, just outside Cancun. We spent every minute we could at the beach, soaking up the sun, but we also found time for swimming with dolphins and visiting the ruins at Tulum. At the ruins we had an LDS tour guide which was a really interesting spin on the experience, especially after we finished my sister saying, "That was such crap!" haha yes I have a fantastic family. We also went into Playa del Carmen and did a little shopping, Jeff's first experience shopping in a foreign country with four women with shopping experience. We found a Starbucks, a 7-11 and a Burger King in the main shopping area, I guess you never really get too far from "American culture." We were lucky to have such good weather the entire time we were there and to be able to spend time together as a "new" family!

A Little Behind

Hmm well I have been back in school for two weeks now and I am already behind. I did spend a week in Mexico however, which has attributed to this little problem, but it was worth it. I will post Mexico pictures soon... This past week I started coaching softball at Mountain Crest High School. We are just doing open gyms right now twice a week, and tryouts are in March and that is when life will get really crazy. It is very fun playing softball again. I don't regret not playing in college, but I still miss the actual sport, so it has been fun to really get into everything again. The other three coaches all played at Utah State and are married, one has a nine-month old and another is pregnant with her first, and they are all really fun to be around although I do feel really young sometimes. We are really excited for the season to start, we have some fun girls and a lot of talent so it should be an awesome season!
