The last two weeks have been amazing! Super crazy, but wonderful too. The wedding day started out dark and rainy. The girls all went to get pedicures and the boys golfed and had breakfast. Then, miraculously, the sun came out and started to warm everything up and dry everything out. I can't say honestly that I was stressed, it was my wedding day! I didn't really care what happened! It was fun to see everyone who came to support us at the Draper Temple, where it was beautiful. The reception turned out better than I could ever imagine. It was so much fun talking to everyone who came! Matt and I had to clean out our car, thanks to the Fischer boys' decorating skills, before we left for our honeymoon.
The next day we went down to Lake Powell! It was perfect weather the whole time, lower 90s, and we had so much fun on the boat and hanging out on the beach. Matt taught me how to drive the boat and we both got to water ski and I also wakeboarded a little. Matt's family came down on our last day and it was fun to see everyone for a little bit. I didn't take any pictures, because who really wants pictures when you spend a week without a bathroom and a shower! We had so much fun, it was hard to come back!
We spent three days cleaning, cleaning, cleaning our messy apartment. It feels so good to be able to see the floor again! Our apartment is much cuter now that we have furniture, I will have to include some pictures soon.
After the weekend, I headed back to Logan for my two-day student teaching orientation. It feels so good to get started on my last leg of college! Today I started my student teaching at Vineyard Elementary in Orem. I am a little overwhelmed but I know that things will get more fun as I go along. I will be putting in (with my commute) 10-12 hour days from now until Christmas and all I've heard is that I will be exhausted, and I know it's true! It's crazy but I can't wait to get started teaching.
I should get my wedding pictures sometime this week so check back soon!
